Which leads me to my next point. You know how Sec 4s have to design this picture thing that will be included next to our class photo in the yearbook? I think we should do something that actually reflects our class. No offense to Clara and Naomi, but that board thing they did - the huge white H on a gold background - doesn't say anything about our class at all.

So here's my suggestion:
For our picture, we should draw a class stoning. And maybe have the caption "You will be the death of me." on top of it.
In this way, everyone who sees the yearbook like, 5 years into the future will still think: "Oh yes, 4H 2009. The class where it seemed like you're speaking to a brick wall when you talk to them."

TO OUR SURPRISE

ALPS IS CANCELLED!

Dear Parent/Guardian,
In view of the dynamic H1N1 flu situation in the world and as a precautionary measure, we have
decided to cancel the Advanced Learning Programme (ALP) for all Secondary Two to Four Sudents from 22 June to 26 June 2009. Instead, we shall conduct Home-Based Learning (HBL) where students do e-learning at home during this period.

Please advise your child to go to the school website (www.anglicanhigh.moe.edu.sg) for details of the HBL and programme outline.

Pupils with no computer or internet access at home are allowed to come to school to register and use the computers in the computer laboratory to do their e-learning. The computer laboratory will be open from 9.00 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. These pupils are required to bring along their oral digital thermometer for temperature measurement as part of the precautionary measures. If they are unwell and cannot come to school, the learning materials will be delivered to them by post.
